Ms. Nowak has 13 years of experience in the architectural profession in a wide range of commercial projects, completing work in corporate interiors, retail, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and multi family residential project types.

After graduating from the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture, Amy worked with architectural firms in New York City and Rockland County, New York, servicing a multitude of Fortune 500 companies, including the Charles Schwab Corporation, The Pepsi Bottling Group, PepsiCo Inc., Prudential Financial, The Sara Lee Corporation, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. She supervised and managed all phases of the architectural process, including programming, site analysis, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding, negotiation, construction management, and project closeout processes.

Now with Poskanzer Skott Architects, Amy has rounded out her project type resume to include major corporate interiors, healthcare administration facilities, multifamily and single-family residential projects, in addition to continuing to build her skills in project management and other project types. She was the Project Architect and Senior Designer on a 30,000 S.F. corporate office project for Econnergy, a global energy trading company located in Montebello, New York. In 2009, Amy became a LEED Accredited Professional, establishing her commitment to sustainable design efforts.

In 2011 Ms. Nowak became an “Associate of the Firm”.
