Poskanzer Skott Architects Adds Staff to Meet Business Growth
New Architect, Senior Administrative Staff, Join Established Team

RIDGEWOOD, N.J., May 10, 2016 – Responding to recent growth in the size, scope and diversity of its projects, Poskanzer Skott Architects (Poskanzer Skott) has expanded its team of architects and added senior administrative staff.

“We’ve seen a considerable increase as the economy continues to improve, particularly in the areas of multi-family, healthcare and adaptive re-use,” said Barry Poskanzer, AIA, partner in the Ridgewood, N.J.-based firm. “To keep pace with this growth, we’ve hired key staff to provide additional expertise in both project design and production.”

Cheryl Fothergill, Poskanzer Skott’s newest staff architect, has in-depth experience generating and developing comprehensive construction projects. “Our clients and staff will benefit from Cheryl’s expert CAD and REVIT skills, as well as her proficiency in project preparation and coordination,” noted Poskanzer.

A graduate of New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Cheryl Forthergill is certified as a construction documents technologist by the Construction Specifications Institute. The Ho-Ho-Kus resident was inducted into the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. She comes to Poskanzer Skott from Keiser Associates, Inc. in New York City and previously was a staff architect at H2M Architects & Engineers, Inc. in Parsippany, N.J.

Also joining the firm are Elaine Bronner of Glen Rock, as director of business management, and Kimberley Borzi of Waldwick, as office operations manager. Elaine Bronner has worked in various capacities in the healthcare field and has extensive experience in business management, executive directing, and project oversight. Her previous positions include project management and business development for Liberty World Health and Wellness Center, LLC, an urgent care center in lower Manhattan; manager in the healthcare consulting group at Amper, Politziner & Mattia, PA in Edison; and administrative director for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s family health unit.

Kimberly Borzi was most recently an internet sales coordinator for Carlo Russo’s Wine & Spirit World in Ho-Ho-Kus, and has worked in office management and as an executive assistant at prior positions.
